Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we do with it, and how to get it removed.
Welcome to NYC Network Cabling Co.
NYC Network Cabling Co. is a brand operated by Ray Global. Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to protecting any personal information you choose to share while visiting our website or communicating with our team. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how it is used, and the steps we take to safeguard it.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you give us
With your permission, we may collect the following details when you complete a form, request a quote, or contact us directly:
- Name — to personalise communication and respond accurately to your inquiry.
- Company or organisation — to understand who we would be working for.
- Phone number and email address — to provide estimates, schedule site visits, confirm project details and share updates related to your request.
- Site location — the building, floor or area the work relates to, so we can assess access, building requirements and scope.
- Anything you tell us in your message — drop counts, timelines, drawings, building rules, and any other project detail you choose to send.
We only collect information that you voluntarily submit. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card details, bank account numbers or government identification numbers through this website.
1.2 Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit — such as IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed and the site or search that referred you. This is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. It is not used to build a profile of you as an individual.
Our website also embeds services operated by third parties, and those services may set cookies or similar technologies in your browser. See section 5.
2. How Your Information Is Used
The information you provide is used strictly to support your request and improve your experience. This may include:
- Responding to inquiries and preparing scopes and estimates
- Scheduling site walks and coordinating project work
- Confirming installation details, materials, access windows or timelines
- Issuing certificates of insurance and satisfying building requirements
- Providing documentation, test results and as-builts after a project
- Improving website performance and internal reporting
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Text Message (SMS) Communications
If you tick the SMS consent box on one of our forms, you consent to receive non-marketing text messages from NYC Network Cabling Co. about your inquiry, your quote, and appointment or site-visit scheduling. The consent box is never pre-ticked, and consenting to text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply — those charges come from your mobile carrier under your own plan, not from us. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out; you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Reply HELP for assistance, or call (646) 846-2276.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Information may be shared with subcontractors and service providers who support our customer service and messaging operations, and only for that purpose.
Full messaging terms are set out in our Terms & Conditions.
4. How Your Information Is Shared
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers who run our systems. Our website, contact form, customer records and messaging are hosted on a third-party platform (HighLevel / LeadConnector). Information you submit is stored and processed there on our behalf.
- People needed to deliver your project. In limited cases, necessary details may be shared with technicians, subcontractors, suppliers or your building's management — for example, to schedule access, issue a certificate of insurance, or order the right materials. This is shared only when required to deliver the services you requested.
- When the law requires it. Where we are legally obliged to disclose information, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety or property.
We do not share your information with anyone for their own marketing purposes, and text messaging opt-in data is never shared with any third party, as stated in section 3.
5. Cookies & Third-Party Services
This website embeds services operated by third parties. Those services may set cookies or similar technologies in your browser, and they operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control:
- Our contact form, which is hosted and delivered by our website and messaging platform.
- A Google Maps frame in the footer, which shows our office location.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking them may affect how the embedded form or map behaves. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of individual visitors.
6. Data Retention & Security
We keep inquiry and project information for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver and document any work, and meet our record-keeping and insurance obligations — after which it is deleted or archived. If you ask us to remove your information sooner, we will do so except where we are required to retain it.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including keeping it on access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive financial or identification details through this website.
7. Consent to Collection & Use
By submitting personal information through a form on nycnetworkcablingco.com, or by contacting us by phone or email, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
If you prefer not to submit information online, you may contact us directly on (646) 846-2276.
8. Your Rights & Data Control
You have the right to manage your personal information at any time. You may:
- Opt out of phone, email or text communications
- Request removal of your information from our records
- Ask to review, correct or update the information we hold
- Ask us what information we hold about you and who it has been shared with
To make a privacy request, call (646) 846-2276 or use our contact page. All requests are handled promptly and with care. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
9. Children's Privacy
This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Updates to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in services, data handling practices or legal requirements. Any revisions will be posted on this page and the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the website after changes are published indicates acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage reviewing this page from time to time.
